How to treat conjunctivitis in the baby

There are different ways to treat this disease in children. In the case in question of a newborn, one option is to provide a drug intramuscularly, or by means of an injection. Other professionals prefer to do it orally or by means of ointments or eye drops. The choice of treatment is related to the type of germ causing the infection.
