Benefits of swimming in babies
Babies have a natural affinity with water. Become totally free in the water as it is a very similar environment to where they lived during pregnancy. We all have an innate reflex, but is generally higher in babies up to 6 months of age, allowing them to hold their breath underwater naturally and provides a gentle introduction to diving.
Today the baby swimming or Matroswimming (swimming baby with the mother), has become a popular activity among parents. Babies have a natural affinity with water they love the feeling of floating in warm water. Although infants lack the strength, coordination and motor skills to swim in the water, can swim short distances underwater from an early age. This is accomplished through special training where children learn to hold your breath and take advantage of the reflexes that are in training.
