It is best between the second and third birthdays, but keep in mind that, first, the little control the anal sphincter (stop pooping) and then the bladder (stop wetting).
There are parents who embark on this training within two years, something that should never be done. Unfortunately, in Western culture a lot of parents are quick with sphincter control, not let up their children.
However, there has to be previously a biological preparation with neuromuscular and psychological maturation so that everything comes to fruition. Read the rest of this entry »
