A child is not a small adult. After birth, he is completely helpless. But hardly in the world, begins a rapid development. Especially the first five years of life are crucial for the final physical and mental health of the child.

It is often assumed that children develop over time in defined stages, with the individual development steps to build each other strictly. That would mean that the Babies Development Stages are genetically determined to the extent that they would be exactly predictable. In practice, however, all too often, that individual child develops differently. Although most children develop according to a scheme build on each other, but there are also just as many variations. At this point, the influence of environmental factors is evident.
