How to properly bathe your baby

When newly born baby, do not need to be bathed too, as long as you properly clean the part that makes contact with the diaper whenever it changes. Bathing two or three times a week in the first year of life is more than enough, because otherwise it may dry out the skin.

Baby bath

During the first few weeks until it falls off the stump of the umbilical cord, you should only give sponge baths in a warm place on the bed or changing table or any hard surface, covered by a quilt or a fluffy towel, still hold with one hand, to prevent the child from falling.

Before you begin please have a pot with water, a damp sponge and rinse well (not containing soap scum), a mild soap suitable for the baby, keep your child covered with a towel and only discover the party will sanitize. Read the rest of this entry »
