Causes of low weight babies

Author: The baby’s weight, which is controlled throughout pregnancy by ultrasound, is one of the main health indicators of the child.
This parameter, along with the measure, is those that provide sufficient data to check that everything is developing as expected.
Sometimes, the fetus does not grow the way they should, what is called, intrauterine growth retardation, which can be caused by multiple factors.
Causes of low weight babies
- • According to experts, one of the main causes of low birth weight in newborns is related to the age of the mother, if it is too young or too old can affect a premature birth.
