There is a condition called syndrome of expertise in food, in which children consume no more than a couple of foods chosen by them capriciously, chocolate and green gnocchi or certain brands of potato chips and vanilla yogurt.
Eating behavior is usually associated with social behavior: a child who chooses to consume certain foods also prefers a couple relationships which are very symbiotic, that is, it is difficult to make relationships with others of their generation.
