Children who are born with this condition have a number of characteristic defects, among which include small head and brain, facial abnormalities and defects in other bodies, as well as presenting anomalies of neurodevelopment, including deterioration of fine motor skills, abnormal gait, sensorineural hearing loss and poor coordination between the eyes and hands.
