The hearing is one of the most important senses as it plays a fundamental role in the process of communication and language acquisition. Its loss or reduction can seriously affect the child if they are detected early.

The first years of life are the most important time for this training, because the most significant advances will occur up to five years.

Therefore it is very important that parents pay attention to the evolutionary development of their children, understanding that a hearing impairment does not imply an intellectual disability, but we must address their special needs as early as possible to ensure normal social development, based on communication.
