Pregnant women are considered a risk group to moderate the effects of seasonal flu, so in recent years health campaigns have begun to include from the first quarter.
A group of U.S. physicians found that vaccinating pregnant women against influenza also protect their newborns against such diseases.
So far the vaccine against influenza was recommended by specialists for everyone from 6 months of age; however, recent developments indicate that the population of small to that age may be protected if their mothers received the inoculation. Read the rest of this entry »
