Farewell to the worries pneumococcal infections. Now our children can be better protected against lung infections (meningitis, pneumonia …). The progress of science has replaced the former Prevenar 13. This new vaccine has not been significantly away from the old, but this time, with broader coverage.

At 57 euros, Prevenar 13 is already available in pharmacies. It is an injectable solution containing portions of 13 different types of the bacterium Streptococcus pneumoniae.
