Coffee – Drink coffee during pregnancy can double risk of having an abortion, says a study published by the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology. According to the report, taking 200 milligrams of caffeine, the amount contained in two or three cups of coffee can double the risk of abortion in the first weeks of pregnancy. Pregnant women should therefore stop drinking coffee for at least the first three or four months pregnant, as the author of the study says. Although experts say the data should be taken with caution, they also argue that there is obvious risk involved for a pregnant woman to drink too much caffeine.
