The temporary lack of appetite can be a symptom of something wrong, if the child looks pale, more contrary and irritable than usual, it is advisable to measure fever, seek medical advice if necessary.
In some cases, be a lack of hunger because of abundant snacks too, but if there is no apparent cause, there is no need to worry too much: the baby is able to manage themselves and insistence likely to make the mealtime as a real battle.
If the child is sick, loss of appetite is a normal condition, if the disease is short, do not be afraid of a few missed meals, but you must follow a few rules:
• The child must drink a lot, especially if he has had vomiting or diarrhea;
• Milk and beverages derived from it are to be avoided, because they can cause gastroenteritis;
• The diet should not be as limited as that of a sick adult, but you should avoid fatty foods or processed;
• If the baby is appetite, you can tease with the dishes in small quantities but rather, the lack of movement, is to reduce hunger.
Liquids are very important, because the appetite decreases when the child is ill, but increases the fluid requirements because of fever or vomiting.
